Explore beyond the known

We take you off the crowded routes, into quiet forests, hidden bugyals (high meadows), shepherd trails and village life in the Garhwal Himalaya.

Your Himalayan trek starts in a village, not a hotel lobby. Bhunalgaon is a small mountain village in Jakholi block, and our base camp is where you meet the team, eat Garhwali food and set out on the trail.

"Not every mountain is meant to be visited twice."

About Bhunalgaon

A Hidden Himalayan Paradise

Nestled in the serene mountains of Uttarakhand, Bhunalgaon is an untouched Himalayan village where nature still thrives in its purest form. Far from crowded tourist destinations, this peaceful hamlet offers an authentic mountain experience surrounded by dense forests, crystal-clear rivers, and breathtaking landscapes.

A Forest Like No Other
Bhunalgaon is blessed with rich Himalayan biodiversity. Walk through beautiful forests dominated by Banj (Himalayan Oak), Buransh (Rhododendron), Pangar, Angyar, and Ustu. These forests are home to vibrant birdlife, fresh mountain air, and an ecosystem that has remained untouched for generations.

Gateway to Adventure
Bhunalgaon serves as the base for some of the region's most scenic trekking routes. From here, you'll explore Ghuneswar Maharaj Trek, Khom Bhairavnath Trek, Bhedkharak, Sanchora, Kanag, and Dyuli. Every trail offers a unique blend of adventure, spirituality, and breathtaking Himalayan views.

The River That Refreshes Your Soul
Flowing alongside the village is a pristine Himalayan river where trekkers can relax after a day on the trails. Enjoy riverside tea, peaceful riverside views, optional swimming, photography, and relaxing music as the sun sets over the mountains.

Meet Your Trek Leaders

The Mountains Are Our Home

A great trek isn't defined only by the destination—it's defined by the people who guide you along the way. At CampyTrip, our trek leaders are more than just guides. They are mountain explorers, nature lovers, storytellers, and your trusted companions throughout the journey.

Born and raised in the Himalayas, they know these forests, rivers, villages, and trails like the back of their hands. Their experience ensures that every step you take is safe, enjoyable, and memorable.

What You Can Expect
Our trek leaders will guide you through every stage of your adventure—from your first briefing to your final farewell. They'll help you navigate forest trails safely, understand local traditions and culture, identify Himalayan trees and birds, set up tents and campsites, learn basic camping and survival techniques, cross challenging sections with confidence, and enjoy every moment while staying safe.

Learn from the Mountains
Throughout the trek, you'll discover fascinating insights about Himalayan Flora & Fauna, traditional village life, mountain weather, local folklore & legends, responsible trekking, and forest conservation. Every trail becomes an outdoor classroom, where nature is the greatest teacher.

Safety Comes First
Your well-being is our highest priority. Our trek leaders are trained to conduct safety briefings, maintain group coordination, provide basic first-aid assistance, monitor weather and trail conditions, and respond calmly in unexpected situations. Your safety will never be compromised for the sake of adventure.

More Than Just Guides
By the end of the journey, you'll realize they were never just guides. They'll become your teammates, mentors, storytellers, and perhaps, your lifelong friends.

Eat local. Trek far. Create memories.

Six hidden treks from one base camp, from the 3-day Dyuli Hidden Meadow to the 8-day Matya & Panwali Kantha. Batches leave on the 10th and 25th of every month.
